Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actress, playback singer as well as a musician. She works mostly in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born to the same Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor at the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai went to National Public School. He graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a classical piano lessons at age eight, has been called being a "geek" and was aspiring to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. At age 10 she was in a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the basis of her first musical and singing career. She was performer in her college in several shows organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. She served as President of the Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea began her professional career in theatre with Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. She also acted in a television show that was telecast on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows throughout India. She played a brief performance at the close of Kanda Mudhal 2005. Gautham A. Menon was invited after she appeared in the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu film to be featured as a leading female for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani who is a wife and mother of a man with an affair. Andrea was chosen for the part after actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film came out in early 2010, The film was released in early 2010. in Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, that starred several actors. In 2013, she began her career in Malayalam cinema by playing Rajeeev Ravi's love film Annayum Rasoolum.
