Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN its award-winning coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she reported on the Congress cycle which included events like discussions to raise the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. Bolduan has also worked as a general assignment correspondent, covering stories such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the landmark Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government's stimulus plan in 2009. The reporter joined CNN Newsource in the year 2007. She was a feature reporter and breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She lives currently in New York City along with her husband, two kids and parents.
